ATEE Conference 2011: Riga August 24 -28. Teachers' Life-cycle from Initial Teacher Education to Experienced Professional
Posted on June 12, 2011

The annual conference takes place this year at the University of Latvia in Riga.  Our colleague Irena Zogla is involved in arranging things of course and we look forward to seeing as many of our TISSNTE partners and followers there.

The work of teachers, teacher educators and indeed all involved in teaching and learning in institutions and organisations of all kinds gets increasingly difficult given the present global concern over finance and the many changes this is making to the ways in which projects, courses, resources and support have been affected. The experience of student-teachers and the provision of training throughout a teaching career are also subject to change.

The focus of this conference gives the opportunity to discuss some of these concerns.

You will find further information on the ATEE website.
